Welcome to Inverclyde Elderly Forum.

Inverclyde Elderly Forum were formed in September 1988 by the Council and Social Work Department. We were set up as an empowering, informing and campaigning group of elderly people to take on board issues affecting the quality of life of all the elderly people of Inverclyde.

We have gone from a small group trying to make ourselves heard to a high profile, well organised group and we in Inverclyde have become one of the most successful forums in Scotland.

Our Aims are:

Inverclyde Elderly Forum shall promote the general welfare of the elderly in Inverclyde by campaigning on issues affecting the elderly and raising these issues with the departments or agencies concerned.

Inverclyde Elderly Forum shall attempt to ensure that facilities and services are made available for the physical and mental well-being of the elderly in Inverclyde.

Inverclyde Elderly Forum shall provide a meeting where issues giving cause for concern can be discussed with appropriate action being taken.
